Girls Football Team
EMPOWERING GIRLS THROUGH FOOTBALL
Our football team "Rising Queens" consists of 28 young girls that train every day after school with their coach Arnold. They frequently take part in tournaments held in the local female football league.
We are proud and happy to know that we can offer our girls the opportunity to do what they love and strengthen their confidence.
In a male-dominated country like Zambia, their team is about more than just playing football. It is about creating a space, where young girls feel seen, empowered and confident, where they can challenge themselves and form strong bonds that carry them through life.
SUPPORT THE PROJECT
All of the support that we receive goes directly towards the team and their essential needs such as training equipment, transport to matches and the yearly football league fees.
One-time donations help to provide necessary equipment or support their participation in upcoming tournaments that are held out of town.
Monthly donations allow consistency and help to run the programme without any interruption.
